You're Invited!
The PTO and ultimately Kruse Elementary School relies on parent involvement to provide the best experience for your student(s). The more parents we have involved the more that we can do for the Kruse students and staff. We have a great team but are always looking for more hands and ideas. Your involvement can be tailored to how available you are; help at one event, bring a donation in, join a committee or become a board member or coordinator.
Come to PTO Meetings
Meetings are open to all and held the second Mondays of each month from 6-7pm in the media center at Kruse.
Volunteer for events and in the classroom:
Email Jen Koerlin at krusevolcoord@gmail.com to know about volunteer opportunities with the school and the PTO. Opportunities include short 1–2-hour volunteer needs at bookfairs, family fun events, and other events. We will also reach out for food and material donations at times as well.
Become a board member or event coordinator
We have some positions to fill:
Creative Coordinator(s):
Help with various creative projects like updating the PTO bulletin board, write on/decorate the chalk board for events and any other creative opportunities that might come up.
PTO President:
This is the last year for our current president, and she’d like to transition out of this role by the middle of second semester.
